The Rondo EXANGLE Range of Plastering Beads, Plasterboard Edge Beads and Plasterboard Metal Edging

Our plastering beads are available for a variety of applications including internal and external corners, shadowlines, archways, control joints, bullnose corners and edge capping.

The lower profile nib on our P01 External Corner Bead reduces the amount of compound build up on the corner, and our shadowline beads can create the impression of greater ceiling heights whilst helping to hide imperfections in the abutting walls.

To add strength and eliminate cracking of the internal corner, our P18 Internal Corner Plastering Beads can be used and in high trafficable areas of commercial buildings, such as hospitals, schools and public buildings; bullnose corner beads are often installed to achieve rounded corners.

Browse our range of plastering beads available on this page and order now, or visit one of our five stores across South East Queensland in Rocklea, Brendale, Ormeau, Loganholme or North Lakes to browse in person. If you can’t find exactly what you are after or have questions about any products within our plastering accessories range, feel free to get in touch online with our plasterboard suppliers team.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are plastering beads used for?

Plastering beads are thin pieces of metal used to form smooth and solid corners that can be easily plastered over. The straight metal edge that runs the entire length of the bead allows for the creation of neat and tidy corners that are easy to finish.

How do you cut plasterboard edge beads?

Start by measuring out your desired length and marking it along the entire width of the bead to give you a clear line to cut along. Then, take your tin snips and cut in line with your measurement. Cut from the outside of the bead to the inside on both sides, leaving the centre untouched. Finally, bend the plasterboard metal edging against itself until the final middle piece breaks.
